History of A&A Construction Group

A&A Construction Group has been established as a business for over 32 years.  Starting out as a small company specialising in roofing, it has progressed to be a modest sized insurance repair and restoration specialist, also carrying out maintenance and small works contracts.

Approved Contractors for numerous Contract Management businesses for over 12 years, we have gained extensive knowledge of the Buildings Insurance Industry over this time.  A&A have adapted to various management systems and processes for each individual client, and this allows us to keep the bar raised overall.  A course of action implemented by one client is followed through with all others.

It’s this work ethic that has ended with us training a dedicated team of drying technicians to aid in restoring a property to its pre-loss condition.  We directly employ most trades such as Carpenters, Plumbers, Electricians, Decorators, Roofers, Bricklayers and some Specialist finishers.

A&A also has a close working relationship with specialist sub contractors whom carry out work such as Floor coverings, conservatories and marble finishes.  It is this relationship and understanding that allows a high level of communication and professionalism to ensure a project runs smoothly and a customer is left with an exceptional finish.

Health & Safety

We have always believed that the highest possible standards are crucial, not simply to satisfy government legislation but because it is fundamental to operating a well-run and productive business.  In fact, it is evident in all our day-to-day activities that health and safety is an integral part of our culture.

This approach means that when it comes to developing good practice, we are often one step ahead.  In addition to all the important risk assessments and method statements, we continuously train our staff in Health and Safety issues, identify potential risks and provide every opportunity to our workforce to fully discuss any issues.

An induction of every project that falls within CDM 2007 to identify the different tasks and risks ahead.  Regular ‘toolbox’ talks’ are carried out which provide trades with important updates on projects, to communicate any Health & Safety issues and specific company processes.

We are fully conversant with CDM 2007 and accredited under the following schemes: -
